The two
downloadable programs require a Windows environment.
Biodynamica simulates biological evolution of
organisms (agents) possessing up to 20 different genes.
Sociodynamica simulates human societies as viewed
by Adam Smith in “The Wealth of Nations”
To install Biodynamica
or Sociodynamica on your computer, download the zipped package PackBiodyn.rar or PackSociodyn.rar. Expand the files to a folder
of your choosing and run the files biodynamica.exe or sociodynamica.exe
respectively which are found in the folder “Support” of the installation package. If you have Windows Vista or
Windows 7, run the “Setup” command.
When running it for the first time, you have to load a Demo file by activating
the menu of ¨NewFile¨ and choosing a file. The Help (or: ?)
menu will give you further guidance. The Help file also contains the computer
code used.
To run
Sociodynamica directly from our server (it does not work with all browsers) go
to http://atta.labb.usb.ve/Klaus/PackSociodyn/Sociodynam.exe
